Châtel is a traditional Alpine village and also a major Ski Resort in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area which includes Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets. With an enviable and consistent snow record due to the micro-climate around Mont Blanc and Lac Leman, snow depths of 10-20cms are often all that is required to open the pistes, compared with higher altitude resorts where a metre or so is needed to cover the rocks.
Apartment 13, Residence Armoises is in a high quality brand new building finished in 2006, in a quiet location yet only 50m from the resort centre and main lifts.
Accommodation comprises 3 separate bedrooms : one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bunk room which also has space for a cot if required. There's a large living / dining / kitchen area with access to the partially-covered west facing balcony, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate WC. There's also a ski locker and an underground private lockable garage for your vehicle or mountain bikes. Please note that the garage will not accommodate large SUVs, 4x4s or roof boxes (max. height 1.95 metres). This is a non-smoking apartment.
The apartment is well equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, iron, TV, DVD Player, Radio/CD, with Free Wireless Internet Access and UK Freesat TV.
