Châtel is a traditional Alpine village and also a major Ski Resort in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area which includes Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets. With an enviable and consistent snow record due to the micro-climate around Mont Blanc and Lac Leman, snow depths of 10-20cms are often all that is required to open the pistes, compared with higher altitude resorts where a metre or so is needed to cover the rocks.
Apartment 13, Residence Armoises is in a high quality brand new building finished in 2006, in a quiet location yet only 50m from the resort centre and main lifts.
Accommodation comprises 3 separate bedrooms : one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bunk room which also has space for a cot if required. There's a large living / dining / kitchen area with access to the partially-covered west facing balcony, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate WC. There's also a ski locker and an underground private lockable garage for your vehicle or mountain bikes. This is a non-smoking apartment.
